Modern Slavery Statement

Introduction

Sharpe Group Ltd are a UK-based Managed Service Provider (MSP) that delivers IT support, solutions and services to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across a variety of sectors. Operating exclusively from our UK office, we are dedicated to providing high-quality, tailored services to our clients while upholding the highest ethical standards.

We recognise that modern slavery, encompassing forced labour, debt bondage, and human trafficking, is a grave violation of human rights and a crime under the Modern Slavery Act 2015. As a responsible and ethical business, we are committed to ensuring that modern slavery and human trafficking have no place in our operations or supply chains. This policy outlines our proactive approach to identifying, preventing, and addressing these risks.

Supplier Due Diligence

We understand that our commitment to ethical practices extends to our suppliers and partners. As part of our supplier engagement process:

1. Initial Screening

          • We evaluate potential suppliers to ensure they align with our values and comply with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

2. Ongoing Monitoring

          • We periodically review and reassess our suppliers to confirm their adherence to ethical practices and standards.

3. Contractual Obligations

          • We include clauses in supplier agreements that require compliance with anti-slavery laws and grant us the right to terminate contracts if violations are identified.

Risk Management

Our business model and operations focus on sectors and suppliers where the risk of modern slavery is deemed low. However, we remain vigilant in monitoring and addressing risks through:

          • Regular assessments of our supply chain and internal operations.
          • A robust escalation process for investigating any identified or reported risks.

Employee Awareness and Training

We are dedicated to raising awareness among employees about modern slavery through:

      • Training Programs
          • Key employees receive targeted training to help them identify, prevent, and report potential cases of modern slavery.
      • Reporting Mechanisms
          • Employees are encouraged to report concerns or suspicions, with anonymous reporting channels available to ensure confidentiality and protection from retaliation.

Reporting and Accountability

We investigate all reports of suspected modern slavery promptly and thoroughly. Any violations will result in appropriate corrective action, including reporting to the relevant authorities.

Continuous Improvement

Recognising that combatting modern slavery requires a dynamic and evolving approach, we are committed to:

        • Regularly reviewing and updating our policies and procedures to address emerging risks.
        • Collaborating with industry peers and organisations to enhance awareness and best practices.

Governance

This policy is reviewed and approved annually by our Executive Team to ensure its effectiveness and alignment with current legislation.
